Extra Activities in 2003
April 27 - Anelise Run: Members guarded street crossings to ensure the safety of the participants.
May 14 - Contribution to Patrol: The Patrol thanks the 20th Century Club Foundation of Park Ridge for its generous contribution toward the purchase of new communications equipment.
May 18 - Kid's I.D. Day: (Sunday) - At the Park Ridge Community Center - 1515 W. Touhy (at Western Ave.). From Noon until 4:00 P.M. Patrol members assisted with the registration process.
May 26 - Memorial Day Parade: - The Patrol participated in the parade.
July 19 - Taste of Park Ridge: - The Patrol had an informational display.
July 25 - Park Ridge Senior Olympics: - The Patrol provided guards at street crossings to ensure the safety of the participants.
Sept. 6 - Oktoberfest: The Patrol had an informational display.
Sept. 8 - We Remember: Harold F. Anderman (1911 - 2003) Charter member, officer and advocate.
Sept.10 - CPR Training: Park Ridge Paramedics provided training to members.
Oct. 02 - 24th Anniversary Celebration: The Citizens Patrol celebrated 24 years of service to the community.
Oct. 04 - Fire Department Open House: North Fire Station at Oakton & Greenwood. The Patrol had an informational display.
Oct. 19 - METRA Disaster Drill: On railroad tracks adjacent to Summit at Washington. The Patrol provided guards to ensure the safety of the participants.
Nov. 28 - Park Ridge Merchant's Association Open House: The Patrol had an informational display and together with the Park Ridge Police Department provided free hot chocolate and cookies.
