Joining the Patrol  

Like most volunteer organizations, we are always looking for new members.

To become a member of the Citizens Patrol, you must meet certain requirements:

• You must be at least 25 years of age.
• You must reside or work in Park Ridge.
• You must have a good background. (The Police Department does run background checks on applicants.)
• You must be willing to commit approximately 12 hours a month spread over 2 or 3 evenings of street patrol, plus one evening a month for the meeting and training.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
