Tips to the Community

During our active patrol as well as during training, we become aware of various issues that we feel can be of importance to members of the community.

House Numbers: The presence of good house numbers is helpful to the casual visitor. In an emergency situation, however, good numbers can be critical to rapid and accurate response by emergency personnel. Take a slow drive through your neighborhood on a rainy night and find out what you can't see!!
Crimes of Opportunity: Many of the small burglaries we hear about are the result of unlocked doors and cars. Sometimes it is apparent that the thief simply went down the block checking garage and car doors; only those who didn't lock their doors were "hit". So simple to prevent.
